General terms and conditions of sale

This legal notice and information regulates the use of the service of the internet portal “www.circular-bandesur.com” that Bandesur Alcalá S.A. with production center in Polígono Industrial El Chaparral s/n, Alcalá la Real, Jaén (Spain) and CIF: A23393101.

Payment by wire transfer

Once we receive your order, we will send you an e-mail with the total amount to be paid and our bank details so that you can make the transfer. In this case, the goods will be shipped upon receipt of the proof of payment via fax. Before selecting “bank transfer” as payment method, we would like to inform you that your bank may charge you a commission, which may increase the total amount of your purchase.

Credit card payment

Your account will be charged at the same time as the order is placed. Don’t be afraid to provide us with your credit card information: the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) system guarantees the transmission of this information from your computer to our server in a fully encrypted form. In order to facilitate future purchases, a token will be sent to you (but not your credit card number). Once we send the token to the secure redsys payment gateway you must complete the necessary data to make the payment by card. Charges will only be made when an order is placed through the website and a credit card is selected as the payment method.

For more information, please refer to our “Transaction Security” section. We accept payment by credit card but, in certain situations, we reserve the right to request payment by bank transfer.

Payment through Paypal: in this case the Paypal Bank acts as an intermediary between the customer and us and is made by sending an e-mail to administracion@bandesur.com

ATTENTION: We charge the invoices in Euros, so you must use the corresponding exchange rate at the time of sending the order. as there is a time interval between the time we make the charge and when the bank finally materializes the charge in the customer’s account, it may be affected by the variation of the currency exchange. This small difference will sometimes be favorable for the customer and sometimes unfavorable and cannot be controlled by us. as this difference in the charge does not depend on us but on the banks, we do not accept any responsibility in relation to this issue.

Pricing information

The price of our articles is the one indicated at any given time on our website, to which the Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current general tax rate of 21% must be applied, as well as the shipping costs.

The purchase process allows the customer to know the final price before the transaction is confirmed.

The purchase system is subject to the legislation in force in Spain, therefore the sales operations shall be understood to be carried out at the domicile of Bandesur Alcalá, S.A.

Request for product samples

You can request samples of our products on the web if they are to be delivered in Spain and Portugal.

When you request a sample of a product, you will not be sent the whole product, but a sample of the product so that you can see its quality and characteristics (for example, you will not be sent a package of napkins, but a napkin, or you will not be sent a tablecloth on a roll, but a portion).

You can request a maximum of samples of up to 10 different products. For each product only one sample can be requested. In case you purchase a product you cannot request a sample of it in the same order, or vice versa.

Of the samples requested we will send those available as such, and in some cases samples of similar items so that you can see the quality of the item.

In case you place a web purchase order the sample request will be free of charge and samples will be delivered if available, or if possible of similar products.

In case you only request samples, a transport cost (VAT included) will be applied:

– Peninsular Spain: 2 €.

– mainland Portugal: 4,99 €.

In the latter case, if we do not have samples of the product or of a similar product for any of the samples requested, the shipment will be made at the same cost.

In case only samples are requested the delivery time can be up to 10 days. In case samples are requested in a purchase order, the delivery time will be that of a regular purchase order (as defined in the general terms and conditions of sale).

Returns – Warranties

You have 14 calendar days, from the day of delivery of the product, to return it to us unused and exchange it for another product or for a refund, in the case of the following situations:

  • The size or color of the product is not appropriate.
  • We sent you the wrong product (sorry in advance).
  • In these cases we will pay for the cost of returning the product and shipping the new product and we will repair or exchange the product immediately.

You have 36 hours from receipt to notify us in writing that the product received has any damage caused by transport, or that it is defective (after this period we will not be able to respond to the claim). In case of receiving less packages than those stated on the delivery note (at the time of receipt), you must indicate on the agency’s delivery note the lack and inform us by phone or e-mail of the missing material so that we can replace it.

WARNING: This last annotation will not be effective for situations not described in the previous paragraph. Consequently, in situations other than those described above, we cannot assume the costs incurred for the return.

What you have to do to return a product is as follows:

  1. Please contact us at info@bandesur.com before returning any product. This is very important to avoid paying import and export charges.
  2. Once you receive a return authorization number by e-mail, you can send us the product. Along with the return authorization number, we will also send you the address and all the documentation you need for this shipment. Please, if you need to return a product to us, try to make the package as small as possible.
  3. For the return of the material, remember to send the complete product in its original packaging together with all its documentation: instruction booklet, warranty, etc.

ATTENTION: All costs incurred for not having contacted us before the return, for not having waited to receive the return authorization number or for not having used the documents provided, will be deducted from our debt to you. We cannot pay any costs incurred by the customer due to these reasons described here.

What happens in case of warranty problems?

We ship all the material in its original packaging with the manuals and documentation provided by the suppliers. We guarantee the products for the same time that the manufacturer guarantees it. During this time, we will repair or exchange any product as soon as we receive it.

Although most leading brands offer an International Warranty, we believe it is unethical to sell a product and leave any possible warranty problems in the hands of local stores.

Consequently, in case of warranty problems, simply send us an e-mail and we will give you all the necessary information to arrange a pick-up of the product in question at our expense to repair or replace it in the shortest possible time.

The General Conditions set forth above and the following Special Conditions shall apply:

  • In printed orders manufactured by BANDESUR ALCALÁ, the responsibility derived from the use of the designs presented by the Buyer will be exclusive of the latter.
  • There is a 5% tolerance margin on the quantities manufactured.
  • There is a 3% tolerance margin for manufacturing defects. If the percentage of defective goods exceeds this margin, we will open an incident file.
  • Color registration in flexo printing is not absolutely precise, and no color matching commitments are accepted.
  • Do not use screens to avoid invoicing a new color. Unsatisfactory results.
  • Use of our borders: Provided with the number of colors that each one entails. If the buyer wishes to use less colors, it will be subject to a surcharge: 200 €.
  • There may be slight variations in shade, size, weight, ink color, whiteness, etc. from one production to another. The ink colors in the catalog are approximate.
  • We recommend not to overload the printouts with text for the sake of better print quality. Small objects cannot carry large text.
  • It should be noted that the same ink acquires different shades depending on the product on which it is printed.
  • There are products that we do not customize and order from the Far East/USA, with delivery times of 4-6 months.
  • Delivery times are approximate. If an order is cancelled, for this or any other reason, the preliminary work (clichés – drawings) will be invoiced if it has been done.
  • The Buyer must provide a design or elaborated idea of what is to be engraved, otherwise it will be considered IMAGE CREATION, the amount of which we ask you to consult in each case.
  • We are unable to provide proofs on finished products. We will submit computer sketches for Buyer’s consideration.
  • Whimsical and constant changes of the tests submitted to the Buyer will be invoiced separately.
  • We confirm all orders by e-mail. The conformity of an order means the acceptance of all the ends of the order: design, prices, discounts, quantities, etc.
  • Conformity to a design also extends to texts, data, etc., including spelling mistakes if any.
  • The printing preliminaries (drawings – clichés) are for the use of BANDESUR ALCALÁ, and will not be provided for use in other graphic workshops. Even if the Buyer has paid for participation in clichés and drawings.

Application of the terms and conditions of sale

These conditions apply in the case of direct sales. If you are a wholesaler the conditions of sale are the ones applied so far in your non-web orders.
