Who we are
The history of Vivesur
Vivesur is the last of the companies of the Bandesur? group, which was founded in 1998, a family company with 100% Andalusian capital based in the town of Alcalá la Real, Jaén, Spain.
At the beginning, Bandesur’s activity was focused exclusively on the manufacture of XPS trays.
The product portfolio was soon expanded with packaging in various formats, dimensions and materials.
Product diversification responds to new market demands.
In 2011, a qualitative leap in the production capacity of the company led by the Serrano Lopez family took place, with the introduction of PET sheet thermoforming.
The production of open trays, tubs and sliced products begins with this material.
Innovation is an intrinsic value of Vivesur and Bandesur and it shows:
The inclusion in 2016 of a new PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) extrusion (plastic molding) line for the manufacture of food film under the name Flexia, or the incorporation as a pioneer brand in 2018 of the development and commercialization of the 100% recyclable accelerated degradation foam tray.
Vivesur’s latest innovation is an XPS tray made with up to 60% recycled content.
This business group integrates R&D into all its processes to bring the best packaging solutions to the market.
In this context, Vivesur was created to complete the range of products, including aluminum foil, baking paper, preservation bags or ZIP bags and freezer bags.
As with the rest of the Bandesur Group brands, we work with the highest quality standards certified by regulatory institutions: BRCS, SGS – ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 and ECOSENSE, among others.
The trajectory of the Bandesur Group?
transcends the merely mercantile and reaches levels of social commitment.
